beating myself up over twitter.
i don’t know what it is, but for whatever reason it seems like lately any blogger or podcaster i send a complimentary/congratulatory tweet to completely lets it go without a response. granted, i’m sure they’re all very busy people and tend to attract fans/readers/listeners that think they have a close connection to them due to the nature of the medium, and may get many similar tweets a day. but really? no “thanks” or response at all?
without your readers/listeners you’d have no one to consume your content. if i were a blogger or podcaster with any sort of fanbase, i’d remember that and be sure to realize that the people on the other end of the content are the reason for the following. and thank them for it at every opportunity.
